He was born on February 1, 1965 to Bruce Lee (Martial Arts idol) and Linda Lee Cadwell. Brother to Shannon Lee. In 1965, they moved to Hong Kong where Brandon became fluent in Cantonese by the age of 8. He attended Boston's Art-Oriented Emerson College in Massachusetts. He studied Martial Arts and drama, like his father. In 1983, he was expelled from school because of misbehavior, but received his diploma at Miraleste High School. He was in Rapid Fire (1992), Showdown in Little Tokyo (1991) and a few more films, including The Crow (1994). He turned down offers to be in Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (1993). Bruce died (while filming) at the age of 32, of what is to be believed, a brain hemorrhage. Brandon died at the age of 28 on the set of The Crow (1994). The film crew shot a scene in which it was decided to use a gun without consent from the weapons coordinator, who had been sent home early that night. They handed Michael Massee the gun loaded with full power blanks and shot the scene, unaware a bullet head from an inert round had accidentally been lodged in the barrel. Even though the gun was pointed away from Lee, the force from the blank curved the flight of the bullet head and it shattered his spinal cord. The crew only noticed when Lee was slow getting up. The doctors worked desperately for five hours, but it was no use. After his spinal cord was shattered, he had no chance of survival. He was pronounced dead at 1:04 P.M. the next day. He was supposed to marry Eliza Hutton on April 17, 1993. His body was flown to Seattle to be buried beside his father in Lake View Cemetery.
Born in Oakland, California, USA, Brandon Lee spent the first eight years of his life in Hong Kong. By the time he was able to walk, he was already involved in learning about martial arts from his father, martial arts expert and famed actor Bruce Lee. After Bruce Lee's untimely death, Brandon, his mother Linda Lee Cadwell (an American of Swedish heritage), and his sister Shannon Lee moved to Los Angeles. He attended high school in Los Angeles, where he realized that he had also inherited acting ability along with his martial arts skills. He continued his education and interest in acting at Emerson College in Massachusetts, where he majored in theatre. Having chosen an acting career, Lee took his work seriously. He studied at the Strasberg Academy, with Eric Morris in New York and in Los Angeles, and in Lynette Katselas' class in Los Angeles. His first professional job as an actor came at age twenty, when casting director Lynn Stalmaster asked him to read for a CBS television film, Kung Fu: The Movie (1986) (TV). Lee's first role in a feature film was Long zai jiang hu (1986) (aka "Legacy of Rage" (1986)) for D.M. Films of Hong Kong, followed by a co-starring role in Showdown in Little Tokyo (1991).

Growing up in Bruce's shadow wasn't always easy for the younger Lee. As a child, Brandon was about to sign up with a local martial-arts studio...until he noticed a large poster of his dad on the wall; Brandon ran from the dojo in tears. Later, as a teenager, he dropped out of two different high-schools (once, after an "altercation" with the vice-principal).
He was a troubled youngster but an outstanding surrogate-parent. When his actress-sister Shannon Lee and a friend were arrested for underage- joyriding in their mom's car, Brandon sat her down and gave her a classic "It's Okay To Have Fun But Don't Ever Take It Too Far" lecture. Indeed, Shannon claims that if Brandon had lived to see her wedding day, he would have walked her down the aisle.

Bruce Lee(27 November 1940 – 20 Juli 1973) adalah salah satu master seni beladiri.Nama lengkap dia adalah Bruce Jun Fan Lee . Tinggi badan 5 setengah kaki dengan berat 135 pon. Menciptakan seni beladiri JKD (Jeet Kune Do) yang di dapat dari penelitiannya berdasarkan ilmu fisika Newton dan teknik serta prinsip olah raga anggar Eropa , tinju ala Barat, Wing Chun (Muridnya Ip-Man), Taekwondo , prinsip seni bela diri ini adalah menahan serangan kepalan tangan atau kaki. Bruce Lee dikenal juga sebagai aktor aktion legendaris China yang populer dengan film-film Kungfunya. Meski demikian Lee terlahir di San Francisco, California, Amerika Serikat, 27 November 1940 dan besar di Hongkong.
Selain sebagai aktor, Lee juga seorang produser film, yang memproduksi film-film Hongkong, di samping terkenal juga sebagai seorang master kung fu dan penulis buku.
Pria yang juga memiliki nama Li Xiao Long ini, mengeluti dunia akting sejak usia balita, di mana ayahnya yang juga pemain opera sering mengajak dirinya bermain di pangung. Hingga akhirnya pada usia 18 tahun, ia telah membintangi 20 film. Dimana film-film terkenal yang dibintanginya di antaranya WAY OF THE DRAGON, ENTER THE DRAGON, FIST OF FURY, THE GREEN HORNET, dan lain-lain.
Tidak hanya film yang menjadi karya Lee, aktor yang menempuh ilmu filsafat selama kuliah itu juga seorang penulis buku. Buku-buku karyanya berjudul Chinese Gung-Fu: The Philosophical Art of Self Defense (Bruce Lee's first book) dan The Tao of Jeet Kune Do (Published posthumously). Selain juga menciptakan sebuah seni bela diri yang ia diberi nama Jeet Kune Do, yang dipadukan dari ilmu bela diri, fisika dan ajaran tao yang selama ini dipelajarinya.
Lee yang pernah masuk dalam 100 Most Important People of the Century versi majalah TIME itu berakhir dengan kematiannya yang masih penuh dengan tanda tanya. Suami Linda Lee itu meninggal di Hong Kong, saat dalam penyiapan film GAME OF DEATH.

Bagi Anda semua penggemar komik atau anime jepang mungkin sudah tidak asing lagi dengan karakter Hanamichi Sakuragi. Hanamichi Sakuragi lahir pada tahun 1968 dari keluarga sederhana. Ibunya meninggal saat dia masih anak2.
Tanpa kasih sayang dari sang ibu, dia menggunakan kekerasan (menjadi petarung jalanan) untuk menyelesaikan
masalahnya. Untuk seorang remaja dia sangat tinggi (175cm) pada usia 12 tahun dan tubuhnya jadi terlatih
karena sering berkelahi. Suatu hari, ia berkelahi dengan seorang siswa di sport zone, universitas tokyo.
Kemampuannya berkelahi, kecepatannya dan kekuatan fisiknya menarik perhatian pelatih basket dan menawari
hanamichi untuk bergabung dengan tim basketnya.
Pada suatu latih tanding, pada umur 17 tahun (189cm), melawan tim nasional jepang, hanamichi menunjukkan
kemampuan yang sangat mengejutkan dengan mencetak 33 poin. Walaupun timnya kalah dengan hanya menvetak 59 poin
(59-115), pertandingan tersebut telah menjadi pertandingan pertama yang menggembirakan bagi hanamichi.
Hanamichi menjadi pusat perhatian dan mendapat sebutan sebagai “The Hope of The Japanese Basketball” alias
harapan bagi dunia basket jepang.
Beberapa tahun kemudian, ayahnya jatuh sakit. Hanamichi pulang kembali ke Tokyo. Setelah sampai di Tokyo
ia langsung menuju rumah sakit tempat ayahnya dirawat. Namun ketika menyeberang jalan, ia tertabrak mobil yang melaju
dengan kecepatan tinggi. Meski mempunyai tubuh sekeras besi, efeknya terlalu kuat. Hanamichi pingsan lalu dia segera
dibawa ke rumah sakit namun ia telah meninggal sebelum sampai kamar operasi. Ia meninggal pada usia 18 tahun.
Dunia basket jepang benar-benar hancur karena telah kehilangan bintang masa depannya. Penulis komik, Takehiko Inoue,
menciptakan serial komik “Slam Dunk” berdasarkan kisah masa muda Hanamichi Sakuragi.

Aku lahir dan tumbuh di Hanoi, Vietnam. Aku bersyukur atas rahmat Allah Ta’alah, tlah mengizinkan mengunjungi Belgia pada tahun 1998, untuk study dan meraih gelar Master of Science pada bidan sumberdaya lahan fisik.
Ketika masih di Vietnam, aku memiliki konsep yang sangat samar tentang pencipta, dan sering merasa malu untuk bertanya pada diri sendiri,”Dari mana manusia dan alam semesta berasal?” pada saat itu Tuhan atau Allah Ta’ala, Adam dan Hawa bagiku hanyalah karakter dalam dongeng anak-anak. Aku juga tlah diberitahu tentang Allah Ta’ala, Muhammad, Alquran dan Umat Islam, tapi aku tidak berfikir bahwa istilah-istilah ini saling berkaitan erat satu sama lain.
Diantara teman-teman sekelasku di belgia, beberapa menganut Kristen, dan sebagian memeluk Islam. Sering kali, mereka menjelaskan kepadaku tentang tuhan tapi tak ku perhatikan. Sebaliknya, justru akusering menentangnya dengan keras. Pikirku,”Mereka berpendidikan tinggi, mengapa masih percaya pada omong kosong sprti itu?”
Aku masih ingat, ketika untuk pertama kalinya aku melihat dari belakang, seorang teman muslim sedang membungkuk ke bawah untuk berdo’a. Aku pikir dia mencari sebuah benda jatuh di lantai, kemudian, ketika aku mengerti kebenaran, aku sangat malu pada kurangnya pengetahuanku.
Ketika aku diberitahu bahwa populasi muslim di dunia adalah satu miliar tiga ratus juta, yang berarti terdapat satu muslim pada setiap lima orang , aku berubah, dari ketik pedulian menjadi penuh ingin tahu, dan berganti untuk banyak bertanyatentang Islam. Rasa penasaranku meningkat ketika tahu bahwa Alqur’anmemberitakan dengan jelas sejumlah fenomena ilmiah dan juga menerangkan tentang akhirat.
Aku tahu, apalagi, bahwa ada juga sejumlah komunitas di Vietnam. Hal ini membuatku menjadi lebih ingin tahu tentang Islam secara menyeluruh. Sebuah agama yang memiliki banyak pengikut yang mengadopsi dan mengamalakan cara kehidupan yang murni dan terhormat. Saya pikir pasti ada mukjizat yang membuat kaum Muslim mempunyai iman yang teguh.
Aku mulai bertanya tentang agama pada bulan September 1999. Semakin ku pelajari, semakin aku menghargai Islam dan menyadari, bahwa umat islam hidup sangat tulus dan memiliki banyak keistimewaan yang membuatku menghormati mereka. Semakin aku memperdalam hubungan dengan muslim, semakin meluluhkan sintimen negatifku terhadap muslim.
Sering kali aku bertanya pada diri sendiri apakah tuhan bemar-benar ada. Bagaimana kita bisa percaya kepada Allah Ta’ala sementara kita tidak bisa melihat Dia dengan mata kita sendiri? Meskipun banyak peralatan moderen, kita masih tidak dapat melihat tuhan. Selama ini aku berfikir siang dan malam demi mencari jawaban yang tepat untuk diriku sendiri.
Kemudian aku menyadari bahwa meskipun tidak mampu untuk melihat tuhan, seseorang masih dapat melihat keberadaan-Nya dengan hati mereka. Ini sperti ketika kita melihat sebuah lukisan, kita hanya bisa merasakan pikiran atau tema dari sang pelukis dalam pikiran kita, tetapi kita tidak mampu memegangnya langsung dari lukisan itu. Namun jika manusia bisa melihat dan mengenali tuhan secara pribadi ( seperti bertulang dan daging ) maka apakah benar bahwa tuhan sama dengan makhluk yang Dia ciptakan? Tidak, dan itu adalah esensi Islam. Bahwa tuhan tidak pernah diwakili untuk diibadah dalm bentuk patung yang dibuat oleh manusia sendiri.
Dalam proses bertanya tentang Islam, aku tlah menerima dorongan, bantuan sepenuh hati dan bimbingan dari saudara dan saudari se-islam seluruh dunia, serta khususnya muslim berbahasa Vietnam.
Aku bersyukur memperoleh terjemahan Alqur’an dalam bahasa Vietnam pada bulan Maret. Setelah membaca Alqur’an aku percaya sepenuhnya pada Allah Ta’ala sebagai pencipta dan Tuhan alam semesta. Isi Alqur’an memang firman Allah Ta’ala yang diturunkan kepada Nabi Muhammad.
Aku percaya bahwa Islam adalah agama kebenaran abadi yang sangat dekat dengan kehidupan. Saya tlah memutuskan untuk mengikuti Islam dan menjadiseorang muslim tapa menunda-nunda, bahkan tidak untuk satu atau dua menit sekali pun.
Hari dimana aku menjadi seorang muslim,adalah hari terpenting dalam hidupku . semenjak saat ini aku dapat malihat cahaya kebenaran Islam yang mengakhiri masa-masa kegelapan dan kebodohan. Aku merasa damai dan gembira karena keyakinanku memiliki alasan yang kuat . aku sangat tersanjung dan bangga ketikamenjadi seorang muslim. Diriku tlah melakukan perubahan besar. Sebelumnya, aku sering minum berakohol, dan bir pada saatsukacita dan kesedihan. Aku berbohong tampa maludan ketika melakukannya, itu hanya untuk kepentinganku sendiri. Aku tidak pernah berfikir apakah itu baik atau buruk, dan aku sangat takut mati! Sekarang, aku benar-benar berbeda. Aku merasa Allah Ta’ala mengawasiku sepenjang waktu, melihatku, mendengarkanku, dan tahu semua yang ku pikirkan. Hal ini yang membuatku menjdai orang yang baik dan lebih shalih. Meskipun aku merasa sangat menyesal untuk kdzaliman yang sebelumnya kulakukan, aku masih memiliki ketenangan pikiran, allah Ta’ala adalah Maha Pemurah dan Maha Penyayang.
Aku mempunyai harapan utama, yaitu, berusaha sedemikian rupa untuk mengajak banyak orang di slulurh dunia, khususnya di Vietnam, untuk bersama-sama menuju cahaya terang, kualitas indah dari jalan Islam yang benar, dan menjadi muslim dengan cara yang sama sebagaimana Allah Ta’ala tlah membimbing dan mengarahkanku.
